Oak Park’s 114th annual race meeting will be held on the 6th and 7th July, 2018. Featuring an exciting five-race program each day with $145,000 in prizemoney on offer + QTIS bonuses of $10,000 to eligible horses. The Lyndhurst Shield has total prizemoney of $20,000 and is sponsored by ” Booth Rural Townsville ” & “Bayer Australia”. Trainers and Jockeys will also be vying for a $1,000 cash bonus offered to the most successful over the two-days . Travel rebates are also offered to Trainers and Jockeys. Jockeys receive a $100 travel rebate and all horses accepted to start will receive a $100 travel rebate per horse paid to the Trainer.
